Quite fresh release. Compilation of dirty and hissing sounding techno tracks (except the last one which is not danceable), so this would not be music for those who are looking for clear and perfectly mastered sound. There is not much evolving melodies, as this is not songwriting music, just loops for slipping out of reality.

BMR011 Wrong Way Home - Weedway [2009]

Next album after "Clashes To Clashes, Gust To Gust" is very uncharacteristic for Wrong Way Home. A little bit sentimental, strange mixture of light and dark ambient tended music. In "The Rain" weird drum sounds expresses the sound of water drops, while in "Weedway" hell knows what is that. Reminds something from Middle East. The "Galedogs" is something like boiling pot of fat molecules. Guilty, but I am not able to describe that track now in any other way. "Sounds From The Fog: Raising Headquarters" with its minimal humming structure continues trip to darker world from "Clashes To Clashes, Gust To Gust". So does the final track "Taos Light", which gives its due to Taos Hum phenomena.

This album the deepest trip into MPK mind or on the [Wrong] Way Home so far. This is the story about invisible world amogst us, about influence of metaphysical dimensions to our mind, feelings, consciousness and subconsciousness.
Drones, hum ("Clashes to Clashes" and "Gust to Gust" and slow rhythmical motion of radio noises drives into heavy state of trance, but wah-wah of "We Shall Come Again" towards the end slightly leads off from it to the kind of sentimental feeling of infinitude.

BMR009 Dirk Largancincy - The Gulf Neewteb [2009]

The Gulf Neewteb is a 24 minute long ambient EP with 4 tracks; Aimselfconshus and Piano No.18-20. The album is a tribute to the lost film "The Gulf Between". Piano No.18-20 are tracks from an incomplete series of songs inspired by pianos, even though they neither contain nor sound like them.

Each track consists only of one melody. The only things preventing them from becoming monotonous loops are pitchshifting, reversal, delay and volume control.

BMR 007 Mu Cephei & Wrong Way Home - Split [2009]

Split which took a long time to release. 3 tracks: 2 from Mu Cephei and middle one from Wrong Way Home.
Intro is droney "Tower Of ¤" which suddenly becomes industrial and the ends slowly and continues with "Simulus", track that contains dark samples which are changing slowly. "Luminous Fountain" is a musical fountain. It builds itself up, loops go on and on while new ones come along. Unfortunately, in the end the fountain runs out of water. A chaotic improv session.
